About Me

My Approach:

I utilize a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and relational approaches that are attuned to each client's unique individual and cultural needs. My approach is warm, empowering, and evidence-based. Together, we will create a safe and trusting space where you can process your experiences, gain meaningful insights, receive gentle accountability, and develop effective tools for growth.
I am passionate about providing culturally responsive care that honors and affirms your unique background and identities. I believe in treating the whole person, so we will examine your experiences within your unique biological, social, and cultural contexts.
Education and Background:
As a clinical psychologist, I am driven by a commitment to helping folks navigate life with greater clarity, connection, and resilience. My journey in this field has been shaped by a wide range of clinical experiences, allowing me to bring both versatility and depth to my current practice.

My most recent focus has been in the area of perinatal mental health, a field with which I feel deeply connected. I completed advanced training through Postpartum Support International, building upon years of experience working with individuals during pregnancy, postpartum, and the transitions of parenthood. Supporting folks during these vulnerable and transformative times has been profoundly meaningful.

In my private practice, I work with diverse adults, offering thoughtful, evidence-based therapy, grounded in empathy and tailored to each individual’s needs. In addition to my private practice, I work as an associate psychologist and periodic continuing education instructor at Pacific Anxiety Group, a collaborative group practice in San Francisco and Menlo Park.

Before moving into private practice, I worked in the Department of Adult Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente in South San Francisco, where I wore many hats: providing individual and group therapy, coordinating care as part of the triage team, conducting crisis evaluations in the emergency department, and offering clinical supervision to doctoral trainees. These experiences sharpened my skills in high-acuity care and strengthened my belief in the power of collaborative, team-based treatment.

My training path has taken me across diverse settings. I completed my postdoctoral residency at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa, working with both the Adult Behavioral Medicine and Child and Family teams. My doctoral internship at California Pacific Medical Center gave me the opportunity to work across the lifespan, providing therapy and psychological assessment to children, families, and adults.
I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, where I specialized in Family Psychology. During my graduate years, I sought out rich, hands-on experiences in child and adolescent mental health, completing externships in a pediatric neuropsychology practice, a community mental health clinic, a middle school, and a college counseling center. These early experiences laid a strong foundation for the integrative, developmentally informed approach I bring to my work today.
Throughout every stage of my career, I have been guided by curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for the therapeutic relationship. It is an honor to walk alongside my clients as they explore new insights, heal old wounds, and move toward lives that feel more whole.
