Perinatal Mood Concerns
The perinatal period is a unique, vulnerable, and often transformative, time in someone's life. Glossy, curated social media feeds often romanticize pregnancy and parenthood, and bombard us with conflicting messages about how we "should" parent, how we "should" feel, and what our lives "should" look like. The reality, behind the scenes, is often a lot more nuanced and messy.
Whether you are experiencing changes in your mood, reeling from a pregnancy or birth experience that didn't go as planned, dealing with loss, grappling with your identity as a new parent, or wondering what it means to be a good enough parent in a world full of expectations, I am here to meet you where you are. My expertise in the mind-body connection during the perinatal period lends me a compassionate and non-judgmental ear, through which we can empower you with the information and tools you need to feel more grounded and resilient.
Depression
Living with depression can feel like moving through life in slow motion. You may feel sad, numb, stuck, or overwhelmed with self-doubt or hopelessness. Depression is more than just feeling sad-it can touch almost any area of your life, such as your relationships, work, or self esteem. Depression can make it hard to enjoy the things you once cared about, or even get through the day. It can also show up as functioning pretty well on the outside, only to feel overwhelmed with painful thoughts or feelings when things slow down.
Together, we will create a space where you feel genuinely understood and supported. We will explore patterns or experiences that could be contributing to your depression, and work to reconnect you with meaning, motivation, and self-compassion. Together, we will help you strengthen healthy coping skills, shift unhelpful thoughts or patterns, and make space for the life that is meaningful to you.
If you are struggling with depression, you are not alone, and you do not have to go through this alone.
Trauma
Pregnancy, birth, and parenthood can resurface past experiences in unexpected ways. You may notice heightened anxiety, hyper vigilance, intrusive memories, strong emotional reactions, or a sense of being overwhelmed that feels hard to explain. For many, this can be connected to earlier life experiences—or to more recent events such as complicated pregnancies, loss, medical, or birth trauma.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating perinatal and other trauma, particularly when these experiences resurface during times of transition. I offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and integrate distressing experiences, which helps them become less impacting.

Our work together will help you feel more grounded, present, and less controlled by the past—so you can engage more fully in the present.
Relationship Issues
Our relationships—whether romantic, familial, social, or professional—are critical to our well-being. You may find yourself repeating the same painful patterns, struggling to communicate your needs, or feeling stuck between closeness and independence.
In therapy, we will create a safe and compassionate space to explore what is happening in your relationships, and why. My approach is grounded in relational therapy, CBT, and ACT, which means we will examine both present challenges and the deeper dynamics that may be influencing them. Together, we will work on developing greater self-awareness, effective communication, and healthy boundaries—so you can show up in your relationships with intentionality and confidence.
Whether you are healing from a breakup, deepening a current relationship, dealing with relationship stress, or working through long-standing patterns, I am here to support you.
Life Transitions and Adjustments
Even the most positive life transitions can come with uncertainty, stress, and overwhelm. Whether you are navigating a job change, the loss of a loved one, the beginning or end of a relationship, a move, becoming a parent, or simply finding yourself in an unfamiliar season of life, change can feel complicated. It is common to experience anxiety or depression, or other confusing experiences alongside these transitions.
In therapy, you will have a compassionate space to pause, reflect, and find grounding amidst the change.
Anxiety
Anxiety can show up in many ways—racing thoughts, constant worry, trouble sleeping, panic attacks, physical symptoms, or a persistent sense of dread that is hard to shake. You might find yourself stuck in “what if?” type of thoughts, constantly trying to anticipate potential problems, feeling on edge, or avoiding things that once felt manageable. Over time, anxiety can make our worlds feel smaller, and disconnect us from people or things we care about.
In our work together, you will find a supportive and grounded space where your experience is met with care and understanding. We will identify underlying patterns that fuel your anxiety, develop tools to help calm your nervous system, and create more flexibility in how you respond to stress and uncertainty.
Whether your anxiety feels like a constant background hum or something that takes over completely, healing is possible. We will work together to help you feel more present, empowered, and grounded in your life.
